ansley gwynn - vocal coach at tara simon studios atlanta
Born in Marietta, Georgia, Ansley began singing as toddler, using her family’s fireplace mantle as a stage with her very own nonsensical lyrics, igniting a passion for vocal performance at an early age. She continued to pursue the arts throughout her school years with an active involvement in Chorus and Theater. Ansley attended The University of Alaska, Anchorage and supported herself through college as a vocal and performance coach for children and teens. Her former clients have been featured on New Girl, American Idol, the Miss America Pageant and have won several local and national talent competitions. Ansley, herself, competed in the state-wide “Alaska’s Country Idol” vocal competition in 2007 and finished 4th out of 300+ submissions and finalists.
Since returning to Atlanta, Ansley has performed in numerous theatrical productions in the Atlanta area including, Urinetown as Little Sally, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Miss Rona Lisa Peretti and Jekyll & Hyde as Lucy Harris, among numerous other performance credits. Ansley was honored by the Metropolitan Atlanta Theater Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Musical in 2013 and placed 3rd in Season 2 of Atlanta’s Sing For Your Life vocal competition in 2014, drawing crowds from all over the state to support her against some of the best local artists in Georgia.
