Heather began her training in her native home of Griffin Georgia. As a student of The Dance Academy and Studio “D” School of Dance, her love of dance and the performing arts was realized and nurtured at an early age. In addition to her training in ballet, tap and jazz, her talent and passion for musical theater landed her with the Griffin Footlight Players. As a result, she was featured in such performances as The Music Man, Pool’s Paradise, A Christmas Carol and The Miracle Worker. She continued her love of the performing arts in her studies at Brenau University, majoring in Business Administration and Arts Management. Upon completion of her studies, Heather was asked to partner with the Alverson Center Theatre. While there, she coached students from ages 4 to 18 in all things musical theater. After countless roles in numerous theatrical productions, Heather became an esteemed member of The Actors’ Equity Association. In 2001 Heather traveled to New York to attend the exclusive CAP 21 program at NYU, proving that a “small town girl” can make her dreams come true.
