AJ moved to Atlanta from Southern California, where he spent five years performing in professional intimate and regional theatre. He has performed in historic spaces such as the Old Town Theatre in San Diego, the Kirk Douglas Theatre in LA, and the Players Theatre in New York City. He studied at The Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio and Playhouse West in Los Angeles, under renowned instructors Tracy Aziz and Robert Carnegie. Since moving to Atlanta, AJ has been working non-stop, appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Reelz Network, and in a huge commercial campaign for the Parks company in the Carolinas. He also writes, with numerous shorts having been produced, one in particular co-written with actor Mark Pellegrino of LOST and SUPERNATURAL. His first feature-length script KID PHOENIX made it to the second round of the Austin Film Festival screenplay competition.
