Atlanta Flutist Alfredo Fernandez | Private and Group Classes

Learning how to play the flute, or any instrument, requires dedication, discipline, enthusiasm, and patience. Alfredo strives to be an inspiring teacher and to share his knowledge and experience. In return, he expects willingness of students to focus during lessons and practice regularly at home.

Alfredo Fernandez has been an active flutist for the past 25 years. He received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Florida State University, where he studied flute performance with the late Charles Delaney. Alfredo has been a member of the Florida Flute Association, National Flute Association, and the Atlanta Flute Club. His former teachers include Suzan DeGooyer of the Miami Symphony Orchestra and Carl David Hall of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. At Tara Simon Studios in Smyrna GA, Alfredo coaches private and group lessons to students of all ages.

Show Off What You’ve Learned!

Each quarter, students are offered the opportunity to participate in several performance showcases per year. These showcases are industry standard, complete with a large stage, sound and lighting team, stage management, multimedia and videography. This is a professional and effective way to apply what is learned in a live performance environment.
